Eight years working for a public riding stables including care and upkeep of 50+ horses and facility, teaching lessons, giving instructions to guests, leading trail rides, stall mucking, basic first aide, teaching staff, and training horses. Also groomed for small dressage stable, basic tack cleaning and horse care as well as mucked and cleaned stalls and pens for local boarding facility. Interim manager at a 500+ acre rescue in rural Colorado with 80+ senior horses requiring particular care.

Extensive experience in groundwork, lunging, and able to ride English and Western, flat-work and hacking out. Happy to upkeep a facility/barn, and always looking to expand my knowledge. Would love the ability to learn and grow with an established program.

Focus on biomechanics in riding, with a focus on relaxation and partnership building between horse and rider. Multi-discipline, flat riding. Western and English. Excellent communication skills, comfortable managing staff or volunteers. Highly detail oriented, self-motivated, and always looking to learn. Sole charge or with a team. Carpentry and trades work experience- handy!

Green horses, horses needing retraining, flatwork, extensive groundwork experience. I enjoy working with horses through quirks or gaps in their knowledge with concepts that translate to any discipline. Experienced with trail riding, leading guests, and basic lessons.
