Equine Work Experience
Riding since 2011, serious dressage lessons since 2013, seven months of working student experience, three years of general barn work at large-scale show barns. I have been involved every aspect of equine care, from feeding and turnout to socializing and starting. I also have experience with breeding, studs, youngstock, and ultrasounding mares. Shown up to Fourth Level at recognized shows (USDF #207316), USDF Bronze Medalist. Trained with Julie Julian, Adam Steffens, Iris Eppinger, Olivia LaGoy-Weltz, and Alison Sader Larson.
Specialities
I work well with kids and the disabled, I am a very patient teacher/student with an unhealthy love for getting critiqued. I am a hard worker and am no stranger to 4am-11pm days in the barn. I also have a knack for social media, networking, technology, and equine photography.
Type of Ride Work
Schooling upper levels at home and bringing along my young horse. Have ridden FEI horses, can piaffe/passage, tempi changes, extended and collected work. Can do some jumping (have shown up to 2'3").
Competition Details
Shown up to Fourth Level at recognized dressage shows (USDF #207316). USDF Bronze Medalist, 11/22 in competitive Third Level Regional Championship class on my Saddlebred. I am a well-organized, punctual caretaker, groom, and rider, and thrive in a show atmosphere.
