I'm looking for a job for after I graduate from William Woods University with my Bachelor of Science in Equine Administration in the spring of 2023. I am looking to move to Kentucky, preferably the Lexington/Paris area.
Qualifications

I am currently working towards my degree in Equine Administration at William Woods University. I have completed the Horse Management Practicum I & II classes which teach vital skills such as taking vital signs, pulling a shoe, bandaging, clipping, using restraints, etc. I have also completed Facility Management Practicum I & II where I learned skills such as dragging arenas with a tractor, changing tires, using power tools, and how to hook up a truck and trailer.

Caring for horses: grooming, feeding, stall cleaning, etc. Tacking up horses

Equine Work Experience

I have been handling horses all of my life. I went to a summer camp with an equine program for seven years. I am now in college getting my degree in Equine Administration at William Woods University. I have worked with horses from the disciplines of saddle seat, western, hunter, jumper, and dressage. One summer I spent working at a breeding/training barn and another I spent working as a Wrangler at a girl scout summer camp.

Type of Ride Work

Trail and fun riding for over a decade. Six years of summer sessions in equestrian programs at Camp Cedarledge, two of which were training programs in preparation for becoming a wrangler. Two semesters of Saddle Seat, two semesters of Western, two semesters of Dressage, one semester of Hunter/Jumper, one semester of long lining and driving, and one semester of colt starting at William Woods University.
