I have been a part of the equine community for eighteen years now. I started taking lessons when I was five at a hunter jumper barn. I took lessons consistently for twelve years and competed for the latter part of those years. During that time I learned how to muck stalls to help pay for my lessons as well as helping with the lessons of younger riders. I am confident in teaching children and/or adults the basics of riding in either discipline. In 2017 I took a job as a Wrangler at a local state park where I was a trail guide. At this job I also did barn, trail, fence, and grounds maintenance work as well as general horse care. In 2019 I took the position of Assistant Head Wrangler at the park and have been in that position since. As a manager at the barn, I am tasked with training new staff as well as the new horses that come to our park. This has given me a plethora of experience working with younger horses and horses that are green and in some cases not finished in their training.
Confident in both disciplines.
Participated in local show jumping competitions.
