Equine Work Experience
♦ Over twenty five years experience with various breeds of horses including Quarter Horses, Arabians, Hanoverians, Thoroughbreds, Welsh Ponies. My experience includes handled mares, foals, stallions, and geldings. Working with stallions for breeding and show purposes.
♦ I graduated with a diploma in Western Horsemanship from Lakeland College, Vermilion, Alberta, Canada. Upon graduation I accepted a position of just under two years working with cutting horses in Germany.
♦ When I returned, I spent time in an Arabian Show Horse Barn, then I managed a Polo Pony Stable, and a Rope Horse Barn.
♦ I have house and farm-sat in Canada, where I looked after cattle, horses, and pets while the owners were away.

♦ My management experience includes developing and administering feeding programs, exercise and conditioning programs, grooming and overall health care, arranging for farriers, caring for injured horses and developing rehabilitation programs.
♦ I've worked with veterinarians to assist with diagnosis, handling the horses to assist with treatment, and follow up on treatment plans.
