Equine Work Experience
I have over 20 years of experience with horses across various breeds and temperaments, including hunt seat riding, thoroughbred care, and grooming. I worked as a hot walker at Monmouth Racetrack and am pursuing certification in the Masterson Method and equine massage therapy.
At Centenary, I assisted veterinarians during classes and Vet Hours, performing lameness exams, palpation, and basic equine first aid. I also handled IM vaccinations, TPR, capillary refill time, hydration assessment, gum color evaluation, digital pulse checks, and gut sound assessment.
