I have a bachelors in Science, majoring in Equine Studies, with a double concentration in Training and Instruction

Duties of Current Occupation
Director of horseback riding program, sole-charge/barn management, eventing/hunter/jumper training rides on 3-4 horses daily, riding instruction/horsemanship education, eventing/hunter/jumper competitions on sale horses
Equine Work Experience
- Over the summer I directed and barn managed a large scale equestrian summer camp program. I lived on site leading a 4 man team
- Last year I assistant barn managed an import sales barn and eventing/hunter jumper riding academy. I lived on site as part of a 2-3 man team
- I was responsible for all daily functionalities of an equestrian center and the training/care of 14 horses
- I have rehabbed, schooled, lunged, rode, and competed young/private horses on the flat, cross country, and over fences 3’

Specialities
I’ve had a career with horses for over 11 years. It is my passion to chief instruct hunt seat riding programs for kids/teens and to train/show horses. As a professional I was trusted to be safe, timely, and to produce results in the performance of horses and riders. I have been the riding coordinator/supervisor to a summer school program. I can care for, maintain, train, and produce sport horses. I am detail oriented and can roll with the punches.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden and been around sport horses since I was seven. I have been jumping horses in the hunters/equitation for 15 years now. I am familiar and comfortable with the inner workings of the horse industry. I am aware of the delicate art of working with green/young horses. I have taught horses to lunge and believe every horse, should have a strong foundation in ground work. I am proficient at riding 3' jump courses. I am comfortable riding beginner novice level eventing.
Competition Details
I have competed in "A" rated 2'9" horse shows. I have been a competition groom at "A" rated horse shows.
