- **Willing to relocate for the right job** Housing, health, dental, vision benefits; & vacation/sick days are a benefit. --I have 3 references (most recent trainer, horse owner I exercise for, and woman I ride with) if you'd like their contacts.
Qualifications
I can drive a 2-3 horse trailer, I am a little rusty with a 6 horse; potentially willing to travel to shows and to relocate to another state FOR THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY as I am rehabbing my own horse. I have completed a few online equine courses which includes business management and coaching, nutrition and performance, massage and physiotherapy, and anatomy/biomechanics. I am looking to further my education in the industry in all aspects.

Duties of Current Occupation
I am responsible with basic barn maintenance, general upkeep/cleaning, making grain, grooming & tacking, clipping, turning in/out, lunge/pessoa work, flatwork, first aid, horsemanship and all things for a healthy horse and happy barn.
Equine Work Experience
My equine experience is in hunter/jumper/equitation show horses professionally for 10 years. I have grooming experience, exercising, lunging, feeding, treatments, supplements, hoof packing, turnout and tacking, vet work, tack cleaning, wrapping, proper blanketing, bathing, clipping, packing for shows, farm maintenance, paperwork, clients scheduling and knowledge of lameness and major health issues. I also have 6 years experience with most western disciplines and fox hunting. I have assisted in videography/photography for sales horses also.
Specialities
I have worked with mares in season, stallions and foals. I see myself as a leader. Ive groomed at WEF, The Hamptons, Princeton, Old Salem and Harrisburg for a few private hunter/jumper barns. Ive worked with horses with many different personalities & tempers. I am a fast paced worker and a bit of a clean freak. The job is always about the well-being of the horses and making sure every horse is always as comfortable, happy, clean and turned out to a high standard.
Type of Ride Work
I currently ride English and I'm confident in my flatwork when consistent, but I also do trail riding, rehab, hunting, and I would like to get back into jumping. I have worked through rearers, bolters, stoppers and buckers. When I rode Western I did pleasure/flatwork, NRCHA and barrels. I also practice natural horsemanship techniques, do groundwork and have assisted in starting young horses. I also believe all horses should have a foundation of the fundamentals of dressage.
Competition Details
I have practiced barrels and rode with NRCHA AND NCHA for 3 years at mainly smaller events but practiced for 4-5 years but decided to transition to English, fox hunting, hunters and show jumping. I have shown in the lower levels of local shows before an injury as I have ended up taking a break after. I have also done a few small unrecognized and recognized A/AA shows, hunter paces & foxhunting. I have assisted in setting up of local shows and organization of them, and have helped with entries.
