Duties of Current Occupation

Barn manager, head trainer, able to ride ponies and comfortable with hotter horses.

Equine Work Experience

Graduated from Post University with a B.S in Equine studies, and was working full time at a 15 horses boutique hunter facility. I have 10+ years of experience working with a therapeutic riding program, as well as teaching summer camp. For the last 5 years I’ve been assistant manager, and now barn manager, with skills like lunging, braiding, clipping, mane pulling etc. I have worked with rescue horses, and have even retrained OTSB. I own an OTTB gelding whom I’ve restarted and successfully turned into a 2’6 hunter.

Specialities

I've handled stallions, foals, and yearlings before, and can deal with frisky horses on the ground. I'm a quick learner and have a general knowledge of equine first aid. I am a very hard worker, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty. Currently managing a staff of 15.

Type of Ride Work

Able to school 2’6 comfortably. Have competed up too training level dressage and novice cross country. I have very basic understanding of reining and some western techniques as well.

Competition Details

I have competed locally in the NJ/NY/CT area, but have years of experience grooming and working for a competitive show barn.
