I have completed my Associates degree in Equine Science and Management

I started riding western at a very young age and quickly switched to english riding around 2 years into riding. I have since continued my riding. I worked at an equine Hunter/Jumper facility for as a stable hand doing stalls, feeding, turn out/in, and overall maintenance of facility. I am currently going into my third year of college majoring in Equine Science which has allowed me to gain equine medical knowledge, reproductive knowledge, and gain more experience handling many different horses with all types of temperaments

Have experience working with foals, broodmares and all types of Jumper/Hunter horses. I am very persistent about making sure the barn is looking clean and organized. I have Veterinary experience working at a small animal hospital I do well with positions of authority/leadership.

I started my riding career western doing Barrel racing, after i realized how interested I was in jumping I switched to english to pursue a jumping career instead. I have since been jumping for around 8 years now and in those years have ridden young horses, green horses, and horses with trauma/problems. My college also gives me the opportunity to ride ex-Grand prix Jumpers as well. I have done a lot of flat work, as i believe this is the foundation to any over fences work.

I haven’t had much experience with competitions as I didn’t have the finances available during most of my riding career. I competed in a few Home barn only shows. Once i got to college I made the Equestrian team and was able to compete in IHSA shows.
