Qualifications

Graduate of Morrisville State College’s Equine Science B. S. with a concentration in Equine Business Management, also a part of hunt seat breaking and training courses.

Previously a TA for multiple beginner classes at Morrisville State College.

Rode on both hunt seat and western equestrian teams at college.

Specialities

Turnout should always be to a high standard and cleanliness and organization is important to keeping a stable running smooth.

Experience with grooming, wrapping, clipping, administering oral, IM, and IV medications, knowledge of feed and able to make feed adjustments according to each horse's individual needs.

Experience managing large numbers of horses and groups of people, prepping horses for showing, transporting horses, and communicating with trainers, vets, farriers, clients, etc.

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden multitudes of horses from experienced horses with something to teach me to young and green horses, as well as problematic horses with buck or rear issues.

Lots of flatwork experience and some jumping, currently at about 3’ level.

Experience breaking out thoroughbreds and exercising young racehorses according to trainer’s plan.

Competition Details

Experience managing a thoroughbred training facility at Trade Winds Farm.

Experience on A Circuit as a groom and assistant barn manager for North Run.

Groom for David Hopper Inc. at home, for clients, and at shows occasionally (when more than one horse was showing).
