I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
I have my Associates in Equine Science. To complete my associates I had to complete the following courses: stable management, equine nutrition, exercise and physiology of the horse, anatomy of the horse, pasture management, horse judging, draft horse management, equine AI, equine fitting & marketing, English dressage, equine health & lameness and farm management & finance.
I have four years experience with horses and I have basic knowledge of stable management. I've been blessed to attend university and gain the experience I require to further my knowledge in the equine industry. I have worked three summers at my barns summer camp and as a stable hand/groom, I've had the privilege of working with children and teaching them. I have also volunteered as my trainers helper for her therapeutic riding sessions and I've become interested in expanding my area of experience in that. I was on the IHSA team in SUNY Morrisville and currently on the IHSA team for St. Andrews University.
In SUNY Morrisville I had the amazing opportunity to work with mares, stallions and foals. I learned this through my Equine AI elective where we learned to collect a stallion, lead foals, and leading mares with foals. We also did night checks on the mare as she was due to foal. I also learned to look for specific problems in foals that might lead to dangerous issues and how we can resolve it. I'm also quick at doing barn chores and I'm someone who likes to have things neat and clean.
I have never started a horse, but given the opportunity I would love to learn and invest my time in training one. I have ridden lesson horses and problem horses. What I mean when I say problem horses is working through their bucks, rears and feisty attitude. I love flat work, it is my go to for anything and everything I do and along with that I do love to jump.
I have never competed or been a competition groom, although if given the opportunity, I would love to expand myself into the competition world.
