Duties of Current Occupation
Student at Delaware Valley University studying Equine Management. Equine Camp Counselor at Zephyr Farm. Tacked and untack horses for lessons, taught kids about horses, care, parts of tack.
Equine Work Experience
Have been around horses for 8 years, and have done work in barns for classes at College. Have helped out at horse shows grooming and tacking. Have worked at an equine summer camp, teaching children different things about horses. Shadowed a riding instructor at this camp, and have taught a few beginner lessons. Knowledgeable about some topics (i.e equine first aid, lunging, clipping etc), but little practical application, but always willing to learn and gain experience.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden for 10 years, mostly flat work but have jumped 18 inches. Has taken a dressage class and ridden a Training level 2 test Has no experience in starting a horse or working with problem horses, green horses and young horses.
