Qualifications
I was able to work closely with the Veterinarians at Ivy League Farms. I loved the work! I'm willing and able to work in frigid temperatures as well as heat waves and humidity. I'm very consistent and reliable.
Duties of Current Occupation
Assisting DVMs and Farriers Bandaging, meds ( IM and using catheters set by Dr.), Foal watch Feeding, stall cleaning, tractor and spreader driving, turnout, blanketing and bathing…
Equine Work Experience
I've owned horses for pleasure since I was a 11. I've worked for a family owned Trotting bred farm and more recently a TB breeding farm. Both are in Central NY. References from later are possible. The previous farm has been dissolved for some time now.
Specialities
The farm work required me to be self motivated and well organised. I tend to be good at recognizing early warning signs/symptoms of illness in the mares and foals.
Type of Ride Work
English pleasure and Western pleasure. Currently enjoying some trail riding. Minimal bike ( sulky) driving since I was 11.
