I've spent the last 4 winters in Wellington, Florida. My duties included but not limited to making grain, feeding, turning in/out, blanketing, grooming. Spotting signs of colic or any injuries and administering medication when needed.

I have years of experience and have worked in all kinds of barns & disciplines. Im very competent in mucking stalls, turning out horses, feeding, grooming, wrapping and some clipping. The basic day to day chores and life on a horse farm I can do. I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I worked at a dressage barn for two years in New York, taking care of any where from 15-20 horses at a time. I also worked & lived in South Carolina @ Katanuma Performance horses, responsible for 25-30 horses. Working with the trainer but also when she went to shows by myself. All the day to day care. I also do lawn and field maintenance, I can drive a tractor and zero turn mower.

I was employed at Setter's Run Farm in southern pines, NC for 2 years. I was involved and worked with newborn foals. And small groups of 1, 2, 3 & 4 year olds.

I have ridden western, some barrel, reining, & cutting horses years ago. I would say I was a beginner at this point. If given the opportunity I would love to start riding again but it's not a necessity for a job.
