Overseeing horse care and needs are appropriately met. Cleaning and organizing; tidying and keeping track of all feeds, supplements, equipment, and horses' health. Mucking stalls, as well as but not limited to, teaching lessons and offering services.

I have previously worked in a Jumper Breeding barn handling broodmares and foals, along with occasional stallions and actively competing horses. As well as working as a working student for a local professional eventer. I have also worked at a renowned dressage barn in Columbus N.C; tacking up, grooming, stall cleaning, turn in/out, blanketing, muzzling, feed prep, as well as night check. As well as of recently; managing an eventing based barn out of Asheville NC.

I have experience in handling, mares, broodmares, foals, stallions, and multiple disciplines of horses. I’ve worked in the barn and on the horse both. I keep a steady and quick pace to ensure the job is done well and I do not slack. I understand horses are full time and stay readily available.

I have riding experience in western trail, barrel racing, pole bending, game classes, hunters and hunter eq, I specifically ride Jumpers, beginner level eventing. I also have experience handling young, green and un-started horses.

I have been a freelance groom on multiple occasions, as well as competed on my own horses. I have personally worked more specifically with off the track thoroughbreds. I am currently schooling 2'9 at home and riding 3"-3'3 competitively with aspirations of competing at a higher level
