Would also like to highlight my husband as a handy man for working couple jobs. He can operate heavy equipment and is a certified diesel mechanic. Hes also spent many years building houses with his family company.
With that being said we come together as a package deal with our 2 children and small sr dog.
Duties of Current Occupation
Full care of and assist with training and exercising horses belonging to the mounted unit of Columbus OH. Ordering hay, bedding, and feed. Assisting vet and farrier. Stall cleaning and barn upkeep.
Equine Work Experience
2 year associate Degree from Hocking College Equine program. with classes including- Equine Anatomy and Conformation Health Care Nutrition and Supplements Reproduction & Foaling Business & Marketing Horseshoeing Team Driving 7 years Assistant Barn Management at a Privately owned horse boarding facility with 12 stalls. 11 years working for the Columbus Ohio Mounted Police as a Caretaker for the horses and assisting with Training and riding of the horses. 10 plus years of Trail riding just for fun.

11 years working with Columbus ohio mounted police horses. Daily barn chores and grounds maintenance. As well as grooming caring for and exercising / riding horses. Administering medications and injury care to horses when needed. I've assisted in training basic horse handling and riding to new officers. 2009 Graduate of Hocking College Equine Healthcare and Complementary Therapies with certificates in Advanced Equine Massage and Acupressure.
Type of Ride Work
Primarily western. Trail. Some english. Alot of training with police horses with situations that are high stress. Fireworks,smoke, loud music, lights and sirens.
