Duties of Current Occupation
Assisting in equine radiology, ultrasonography, lameness evaluation flexion, shockwave, joint injections for high level equine sport veterinarian. Grooming and exercising under tack or on the lunge for high level dressage horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have 8 years of experience in the equine industry with a degree in Horse Management and barn management experience. I am a groom and working student for an excellent FEI dressage trainer. I additionally have worked for a top notch dressage stable and competition venue as a Horse Care Specialist for nearly 2 years. I have experience in Wellington with high level equine sport veterinarians as a technician.
Specialities
I am confident in my ability to handle high level sport horses, stallions, foals, broodmares, and young horses. I am quick and efficient in my work.
Type of Ride Work
I have been on many young/green horses as well as a couple Grand Prix dressage horses. I have experience jumping up to 3'. I have experience starting quite a few horses under saddle with wonderful results. I can ride western pleasure, huntseat, and dressage. Not much competition experience, but am interested in the show world.
Competition Details
I have not been in competitions, but have show grooming experience. Interested in veterinary techician/riding opportunities.
