Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked in Pest Control for the past 12 years, before that I worked retail mostly, some restaurant. I worked for a year in a live in position at a barn, along with my wife, caring for about 15 horses.
Equine Work Experience
Barn work mostly. I am not particularly experienced at riding, though I can get a horse to go where I want, generally. I worked at a barn with my wife for a year (she is a veterinary technician with 10+ years experience in all sorts of animals including horses). There we fed the horses in the morning and evening, cleaned the stalls, transferred them to and from the pasture, bathed them, cleaned hooves, and sometimes lunged them when asked. Not equine, but we also have experience with goats, having owned a small herd for several years.
