Equine Work Experience
I grew up on a horse farm in New Jersey with at least 60 horses on at all times. I attended Virginia Intermont for a few years and gained a lot of experience on the ground and in the saddle. I was on both hunt seat and dressage teams there. I have ridden hunter/jumpers my entire life with some dressage and minimum eventing. I have ridden in clinics with Eric Horgan, Phillip Dutton, and Kip Rosenthal to further my education. Was a working student for an event rider, Kristin Schmolze, for 7 months in 2011. Have experience from basic barn duties to caring for competition horses. Work all day until the work is done and everyone is resting for the night. Working with horses is what I enjoy and I am always happy to be in the barn 24/7. I do have a family, 2 young children.
