Working with horses from A-Zed. Feeding, mucking, handling, training.grooming, riding.
Equine Work Experience
Over 40yrs working with horse from foals to the elderly.. Feeding, to dealing with colic and other emergencies. Grew up in NYC, started working with hack companies and doing trail rides before moving to PA. 2001-2007 - Flint Hill Farm, Coopersburg, PA - worked at barn that had 28 horses. I mucked stalls,turnout sheds and maintained pastures; cleaned water tubs and buckets; fed horses, goats, chickens and sheep; turnout of horses, grooming, maintained worming and shoeing schedules. Kept inventory up to date. Was on diasability from 2007 to 2016. Received kidney transplant in 2012 and have been okayed for work. 2015 to 2017Slatington, PA. helping elderly gentleman and his son with their two horses. Mucking stalls, turnout shed, cleaning buckets, feeding horses, chickens and rabbits. Maintain veterinary schedule. 2015 to 2017- volunteer as leader and sidewalker at Horses and Horizons Theraputic Riding Stable, New Ringold, PA
