Day to day care , and feeding , turn-out/ in, barn upkeep,record keeping, meds., supervise part-time employees. Trainer Eng & Western. Equine manager of a horse sanctuary.

Duties of Current Occupation

Starting young horses , riding older horses ,working on problems.Barn management, first aid, bandage, poultice ,laser therapy,etc. Certified equine sports massage therapist.

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding and working with horses since childhood. I have worked exclusively in the horse industry for over twenty years with experience with newborns to seniors, minis to drafts. I have managed boarding barns and have worked on breeding and lay-up farms. Spent several years as a freelance trainer starting young horses and working on problems with older horses.

Specialities

Certified Equine Massage Therapist. Experience with foals and broodmares.

Type of Ride Work

I am looking for a full time hands on position on a rescue/retirement farm, sanctuary or rehab barn . Not really looking for a management position, just want to work with horses and care for them. Mainly western, some hunt seat, Little dressage, driving. Willing to relocate, but would like to stay in the mid-atlantic area. Will .do live-in, but it's not necessary
