Qualifications
Bachelor in Equine Science
Duties of Current Occupation
All around manager for mares, foals, young stock, breeding stallions. Duties performed include assisting vet, farrier, other professionals, maintaining health records, daily wellness checks, inury/illness care and support.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 25 years, QH, Arabians, Saddlebreds, thoroughbreds, warmbloods, but not actively looking for a riding position. Professionally managed mares, foals, young stock and stallions for 15+ years. Well experienced with bandaging, post op care and emergency first aid. Can drive a truck and trailer and have drug arenas. Speak and converse some spanish.
Specialities
Past work experience with warmbloods, thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Arabs. Worked with all ages and varieties of chronic health issues. Extensive wound and injury care, banadaging, IV/IM/SQ shots, etc.
Type of Ride Work
A lot of flatwork, eventing, have retrained several OTTBs, will ride anything any style, galloped racehorses at training farm, taught my OTTBs to drive, shown minis in halter classes, jump 2'9", break horses
