Equine Work Experience
The only professional equine experience that I have is that I helped at a summer camp one year for family friends that have a riding school. But I have been around horses all my life and I have taken lesson throughout my life as well.
Specialities
I have owned my horse for 7 years now. I feed her twice a day everyday. I muck out around the barn and in the stall when she uses one. I am quick at mucking out but do a good job. I clean up around the barn and re-stack the hay when it is needed. I have experience in medicating my horse when she got hurt. I deworm her myself. She gets medication every morning. I clean the water bucket at least once a week or more if it is needed. I also tidy anything up that needs it.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience with riding different horses from school horses to young horses. I can do basic training but I don’t have experience with advanced training. I trained my horse in natural horsemanship. I have done flat work, jumping, dressage, hunter pace, and schooled cross country. I have never started a horse.
Competition Details
I haven’t competed much but I have done a combined test and hunter pace that both I placed first in. I have not organized a show before but I’m night school everyone me and another person would organize a fundraiser where we brought our horses to school, and people would pay a dollar to pet them. With the funds that we earned we would give to a local shelter.
