Duties of Current Occupation

Management of private family farm consisting of 6-10 horses and a small cattle herd. Care for all animals including vet, farrier, exercise and feed requirements. Light facility maintenance and landscaping.

Equine Work Experience

Trail guide- care for approx 50 working trail horses including taking guest rides. Loper- care for all show horses including grooming, exercise and show preparation at home and on the road. Lessons- experience giving children/amateur lessons and full care for lesson horses.

Specialities

Caretaking is my passion, experience with hard keepers, seniors, stallions, young horses and a large variety of breeds and special requirements.

Type of Ride Work

Professional work as a trail guide on many different breeds/temperaments. Work under professional cutting trainer as full time loper. Work for multiple types of trainers in horsemanship and lesson yards. Also very familiar with gaited horses, mules, and driving horses. Light English experience but very comfortable in an English saddle.

Competition Details

Experience behind the scenes at local association shows and experience with full time traveling cutting horses. Very familiar with the work behind showing but never shown myself.
