I have been around horses throughout my entire life. I was enrolled in riding lessons, both Western and English, along with going to horse summer camp at a young age. At 14, I volunteered with an organization called Maury Magic Riders. This organization provided lessons to disabled riders. While I spent some time out of the saddle in my teen years, I still consistently cared for horses as I lived on a small farm. Last year, I spent the summer working at a summer camp as a Horseback Riding Counselor. My duties included the daily care of the horses along with assisting in riding lessons.
