I have experience with both jumpers and hunters, having shown jumpers up to 1.25m and schooled up to 1.30m, working with a wide range of horses—from young and green to seasoned schoolmasters. In the hunter ring, I’ve shown up to 3’, including on green horses, ponies, and more seasoned mounts. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to assist in the development of various types of horses, helping to introduce young or inexperienced ones to the fundamentals of flatwork, such as balance and straightness, while also advancing through lateral work, lead changes, and full coursework. I take pride in bringing out the best in every horse I work with. Continued education is very important to me, especially in developing horses, as I believe every horse has something to teach (both on the ground and in the saddle) and that learning in this industry never truly ends. It’s important for me to be part of a program where everyone, from the barn staff to the riders, work towards a shared goal.
