Bio
Howdy! I am looking for a barn administration job. I have many years of equine barn management - from mucking stalls to perfection to creating systems to track all systems of care for over 60 head of performance horses!Qualifications
I have a bachelors in kinesiology (maybe one day I'll teach Pilates with ponies!) but no formal education related to equines.

Duties of Current Occupation
From stall mucker to Barn Manager - I have done it all! Supervising over 20 student workers for all facets of equine care, coordinating all the vets and farriers, driving the horse trailer, tracking inventory and ordering supplies, and multitasking!
Equine Work Experience
Mostly just care! I have spent time in the saddle but I love just caring for the 4-leggeds and the two-leggeds that come with them! As a previous caretaker and barn Manager, my day to day looked like overseeing daily care, handling any issues/concerns from trainers, coordinating with vets and farriers and other professionals, administrative work, making sure the barn looked spotless, and that everyone got loved on.
Specialities
Mostly performance horses from young Quarter horses learning the reining to high level seasoned big eq warmbloods. I have doctored on about any issue you can think of - asthma, eyeballs, sedation for the vet, cellulitis, etc. Taught many many students the fundamentals of horse handling and how to be safe safe safe around any horse they come into contact with.
Type of Ride Work
While most of my experience is in care, I have done a bit of work in a western and English saddle. I grew up learning barrels, rode some western horses (reiners and horsemanship) horses throughout college and after, and took some time in the equitation ring, learning little cross rails and popping into an opportunity class. Like the way that I play golf, I am better at helping others sit and orient their bodies well than my own. Always looking for more saddle time and more opportunities to help!
