Duties of Current Occupation

Most recently I have been managing an Arabian barn of 25-40 horses at a time. I am in charge of daily care, ensuring proper nutrition, scheduling with vets, farriers and clients, handling stallions, basic veterinary care, training and conditioning.

Equine Work Experience

20 years of training and competing in both english and western disciplines including but is not limited to; hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, trail, endurance, western pleasure, english pleasure, racing, barrel racing, penning, team penning, and ranch work. 8 years experience showing at the AAA level both in hand and undersaddle. Stadium jumping up to 1.5 meters, up to preliminary level eventing, and qualified for Dressage nationals at training and first level. Show grooming, stallion handling, assisted in a breeding lab.

I have experience in the hospitality industry as well as working on my university campus managing the art studios and assisting students that I'd be happy to speak more in depth about.

Specialities

I am passionate about about horses and strive to approach training holistically/naturally. Maintaining the health and respect of working horses is paramount to any successful equestrian operation. I have experience with foals, stallion, colt starting, working with young/problem horses, training and conditioning for English and western disciplines with a recent focus on endurance racing and back country mule packing.

8 years experience showing at the AAA level both in hand and undersaddle. Stadium jumping up to 1.5 meters, up to preliminary level eventing, and qualified for Dressage nationals at training and first level. Worked at Arabian racing barn starting horses for the track, retraining OTT horses for new disciplines and training their half Arabian sport horse program. Colt breaking, young horse training and problem horse retraining. I have 695 competitive endurance miles and a year of mule packing.
