Duties of Current Occupation

Trained and conditioned horses of all levels, managed barns, handled vet and farrier scheduling, hauled horses, maintained facilities and equipment, and oversaw daily operations for both private and rescue programs.

Equine Work Experience

I’ve worked with horses my whole life, including training, driving, managing barns, and handling everything from unstarted rescues to seasoned show horses. My experience covers stallions, broodmares, and foals, with a strong focus on developing trust and confidence through consistent handling and clear communication. I’ve spent years managing barns of all sizes, overseeing feeding, vet and farrier scheduling, breeding programs, and daily operations. I work closely with veterinarians and am comfortable with advanced care including injections (im, iv, subq), iv catheter placement, wound management, and spotting health issues early. I have extensive background in equine rescue and rehabilitation, evaluating horses with limited histories and helping them become safe, adoptable partners. I’m equally comfortable handling high performance horses, running a busy facility, or working quietly with difficult or green ones who just need time and patience.
