Duties of Current Occupation

Avenir – Horse Breeding & Training Facility Position: Trainee / Working Student Trained and handled young horses, including groundwork, lunging, and basic riding introduction Assisted with daily horse care: grooming, tacking, feeing & turn out.

Equine Work Experience

Over 10 years of hands-on experience with horses, including owning and caring for my own horse, riding across multiple disciplines (dressage, flatwork, jumping, cross-country), and working at professional barns and training facilities. Experience includes: Daily horse care: feeding, grooming, turnout, stable management Training young horses, foals, and stallions, including groundwork, riding, and preparation for shows or breeding Assisting trainers, helping with lessons, and preparing horses for competition Veterinary support as a certified veterinary assistant

Foals: Yes – Assisted with daily care, handling, and early training of foals, including grooming, leading, and groundwork. Stallions: Yes – Handled and rode stallions under supervision, including exercise, training, grooming, and safe management during breeding and daily routines.
