I have a bachelors degree in biology but nothing related to horses as far as schooling goes. I do have an Equine Reiki qualification.

Feeding/hay/water, turnout, blanketing, grooming, tacking, bathing, mucking stalls, wrapping, pulling manes, braiding, clipping. Home or away groom. Riding experience in showjumping (<1.20m), eventing, foxhunting, groundwork, young/problem horses.

I have managed my own boarding, training and sales barn in the UK, I have worked at sales barns, boarding facilities and show barns and worked in multiple disciplines including eventing, showjumping and hunter/jumpers. I’ve ridden horses and seen horse culture in 12 countries over three continents.

I have a great background in groundwork, problem solving equine behaviour and I am also a certified equine reiki practitioner. I have worked with all types of horses with many different problems both on the ground and in person. I have successfully managed my own board and train business in the UK and done some sales as well. I am well versed in the “European” way of doing things although I learned to ride and groom here in the US.

I am proficient riding on the flat although I don’t have much dressage background. I can show jump up to 1.20m although have done some higher fences, I have schooled XC over a full course of training level obstacles. I have done foxhunting in the UK as well as endurance rides and trail riding. I’m a balanced, capable and brave rider who gives confidence to my rides and enjoys variety

I have competed in the US as a junior in the hunters and equitation, qualifying for multiple national equitation finals. As an adult I have competed most in British Showjumping (BS) in classes up to 1.0m. I have attended the Maryland 3* and 5* event at Fairhill and groomed for my employer at the time who finished in the top 1 in the 3* event. I participated in grooming for all phases of prep and competition. I have also groomed for multiple others at Hunter/jumper shows over the years.
