I am a very detailed person and love to care for the horses. It is a delight to be around them for me and to watch them grow and develop into athletes. I have a good knowledge base for basic care, nutrition, basic first aid, and equipment/tack. I also have a good understanding of therapeutic rehab and management of injuries as you do many of the same practices with a horse that you would do with a human. And I am a quick learner and of course am willing to continue to learn more from others.

I had 2 Trakehners that I bought as 3.5 and 4 year olds and broke them and rode hunters, dressage and eventing. This was in the 1993-2015- I had them both over 20 years until they passed.

I have had the opportunity to ride/train/groom abroad in Germany studying dressage and eventing with my Oldenburg gelding who is now 11. While in Germany I was able to learn many facets on horse riding and management at high level barns and 5* riders.

I’m a professional detail oriented person and I had the opportunity to goto Germany 4 years ago and I took my now 11 year old Oldenburg gelding to regain my skills for eventing. I began my equine studies at Untere Körschmühle- dressage barn and then went to Gut Weiherhof- Eventing barn.

I have a kind riding style and understand hand/leg/seat aides. My knowledge of these skills has improved greatly after being in Germany for over a year and then returning to the USA to continue this work. My stablemate Alessandra Reich - Show jumping 5* also worked with me and allowed me to help her with her horses and I accompanied her to Oslo Norway when in Germany and in the spring of 2023 I was her rider assistant in Spain for a month.

This past year I was able to compete at the beginner novice level for eventing finishing 4th and 5 th at Bouckaert Farms HT- one recognized one schooling .
