I have a certificate in equine bodywork. Specifically Shiatsu massage for horses.

Duties of Current Occupation
Veterinary Assistant - Assist/prep horses for X-rays, joint injections, nerve blocks, U/S, repro, chiro. Scribe/Ring steward - AQHA, NRCHA, NRHA & Affiliates. Groom - Groom, medicate, first aid, BEMER, turnout, lunge, hand walk, pony, and/or ride.
Equine Work Experience
I have enjoyed working with, or around, horses since I was nine years old. The experiences I’ve had include riding, grooming, mare/foal watch, volunteering with therapy horses, scribing/ring stewarding for reining, quarter horse all around (including the AQHA world shows), and cow horse shows ( Stallion Stakes). I’m currently working with veterinarians with equine reproduction and chiropractic being my areas of interest.
Specialities
I have more experience working with mares and foals than stallions.
Type of Ride Work
I’ve mostly ridden horses in the western disciplines. Most recently participating in clinics for cutting or cow horse.
Competition Details
I have worked with an all around trainer that takes clients to Quarter Horse shows.
