Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since I was five years old. I have shown in everything from leadline to childrens hunter. I gave this up after high school to learn western mainly rodeo events and rodeo in college. I have worked at the barns where my horses have been boarded and given lessons in many areas of riding. I have also managed a horse outfit as well as worked at a private guest ranch with over one hundred horses. I can give shots and take care of minor injuries as well adminster equine antibiotics. I am currently coaching an IEA hunter team.
Specialities
I love to ride and be around horses. I was a member of 4 H and showed hunter/jumpers through high school. I now rodeo mainly running barrels but I have learned to rope and goat tie over the last seven years.I love to work with children and horses and volunteered for therapeutic riding for a few years while in high school.I am very motivated and hard working. I look forward to hopefully pursuing a career with horses. I have a bachelor of science in Agriculture communication and two masters degree
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden hunt / jumper shown horses and ponies and now barrelrace. I am willing to try anything and would be happy to learn a new discipline.
Competition Details
I have competed in many horse shows many were local shows. I have been rodeoing the past seven years and won some district titles in barrel racing.
