I have all of my GCSE's where I mainly achieved A*'s-B's.
I have also got my NVQ2 and NVQ3 in freight forwarding.
Duties of Current Occupation
I am currently doing an apprenticeship in freight forwarding. I look after numerous customers where I handle all of their shipments, this means I also control a lot of the finances. I will be finishing this at Kuehne and Nagel late February.
Equine Work Experience
I have had experience working at an international event yard, where I worked my summer holidays when I was at school.
I have also worked at an international dressage yard, where I worked the following year, also in my summer holiday's and half term.
We have a livery yard of 12 horses, 2 of which are mine. I do most yard duties, and help maintain the health and care of all 12 horses, this is as well as working a full time job. I also ride and lunge for people at the yard.
I train closely with Elder Klatzko, who we are lucky enough to have as a livery at the yard. This means I have been under the watchful eye of an inter 1 trainer since I was on a shetland. I also jump a lot of her dressage horses for her.
Last year I compete at Chilham and Gatcobe CIC, where we came 17th double clear at Gatcome.
I have always had young horses, so I would describe myself as a patient and quiet rider - as well as being brave and being able to stay on.
I am a quite fussy when it comes to the appearance of my horse, I try to always make sure they are looking their best. So I am very particular when it comes to clipping, plaiting, pulling or general grooming. I think it is very important that they are always presented perfectly. I also won £200 and some champagne in my first one star for best presented!
Type of Ride Work
I BE, BD and BSJA both of my horses, but we mainly event. I would like to work at an event yard, as eventing is my main prospect. I am confidently training at advanced medium at home, and also schooling at 1.30m.
I am very confident with galloping and hacking, I can also use a heart monitor.
I would ideally like to work somewhere where I will be able to compete, or even attend with them. I am currently competing at CIC and IN, aiming for CIC** next year.
