Duties of Current Occupation
I run my own small business, servicing the island in horse care, training and exercising, specialising in smaller size horses and ponies with a focus on schooling, competing and assisting in breaking in.
Equine Work Experience
I have been Caring and riding horses and ponies from an early age. I enjoy all aspects of riding; hacking, flat work, xc, competing, , jumping, hunting etc. Since starting my business I have come across many types of horses and ponies, enjoying all aspects of there work. I have started to gain an interest in breaking in with a great eagerness to learn to more in this subject. I also teach a number of children on the island from beginners to novices. My heart is in schooling and re-training but would be happy to learn any other aspects in the horse industry. Due to my small statue my speciality is riding/schooling and assistance in breaking ponies and small horses.
Specialities
I have been around horses since I was a young girl and have a great interest in the horse industry. I trained at the Nothern Racing Collage in Doncaster,UK. Where i received an NVQ level 1 in racehorse care. From leaving the racing college I studied at Myerscough College in Preston, and succesfuly attained a first Diploma in Horse Managment and breeding. I now currently have a small business at home in the Isle of Man travelling around the island, schooling and breaking ponies and small.
Type of Ride Work
I attended a college which specialised in racing which I thoroughly enjoyed and learnt alot from, I am also interested in competing in showjumping, XC, hunting & teaching.
