Duties of Current Occupation
As head girl on my last yard, all usual yard duties as well as management and organisation of yard. Liasing with owners, overseeing horsecare and shows. Currently freelance working as instructor, rider and competition groom.
Equine Work Experience
2 years working in a dealing and breeding yard, where I undertook all usual yard duties and rode a variety of young and green horses. 2.5 years as competition groom in an international dressage yard, where I have held the position of head girl for the last 18 months. Working in a number of freelance jobs including on a private event yard, schooling, hacking and some fast work, riding for a young horse dealer and instructing on a freelance basis.
Specialities
Experienced head girl and international competition groom, very high standards of turnout and horsecare. Also experienced in teaching from novice/nervous riders onwards. Used to dealing with clients and managing the running of a busy yard. Confident, sympathetic rider, lots of experience with youngsters and ridden up to PSG in training. Used to handling stallions, young horses and competition horses.
