Duties of Current Occupation
general maintenance of the grounds on a 150 acre estate, keeping the polo pitches up to standard required, tractor driving, general farm work, excersising the horses, fencing repairs, general building maintenance, feed stores manager
Equine Work Experience
I worked at a horse rescue centre for 6 years, as a groom, and now working at a polo yard as groundsman and general farm worker, with the option of being a groom on my day off!
Specialities
having spent 5 years in the Army, I now apply some of the skills taught to me in my everyday work, such as attention to detail, timekeeping, and commitment, with the eager get up and go to get the job done to the best of my ability, I love working with all animals, especially horses, and the love for the job shows in day to day work completed, a cheery lad with a can do attitude, I like to find solutions instead of dwelling on problems! looking to get stuck in somewhere new and make new friends.
