I have a level 3 diploma in equine stable management- science and therapy at distinction level.
I've been a student at bishop burton college for 3 years. First studying my level 3 in therapy and rehab and now in my first year of a university degree. I have done work experience as a yard hand/ groom at a new forest breeder that also works as a riding school and livery yard. I have ridden for approximatly 15 years. I have done some M&M grooming with my work experience employer who i work for 2 summers between my course. In that time i have attended and groomed at large shows such as the Royal Highland Show. I have handled youngstock and stallions during this time as well as broodmares. I am good at turning horses out to a high standard however in good time.
I am very good at talking to people of all ages and abilities. When in a riding school I have worked with very young children as well as mentally disabled people. I am also good at turning out to a high standard whether the horses be plaited or natural.
Although I have never competed myself I do love riding. I am very calm with horses however I can be stern when necessary. I have ridden a wide range of horses from New Forest ponies to a novice event horse.
