-Exercising of horses -lunging, longreining,backing or riding -schooling, hacking, competing. -Keeping the yard clean & tidy

Equine Work Experience

I have experienced most parts of the horse industry and have now been involved with horses for the past 31yrs I started riding as a 5 yr old. As a child I spent every single second with my ponies and completed in Gymkhanas and local shows. After school I attended an Equine College and achieved a NVQ level 1 & 2 in Horse Care and Management whilst on a Work Based Learning Course. I have experience with training, breaking & reshooling problem horses. I have competed in sj and dressage I have spent a summer in Cyprus working for an Olympic showjumper breaking in racehorses and schooling the riding school horses/ponies and afew months in USA again breaking racehorses for the track. I also did a Polo season in Sydney, Austalia too

Specialities

I feel my 'forte' is breaking, retraining and reschooling, wether that be babies, problem horses or retraining racehorses. I love a challenge. I enjoy and work well producing green, freshly backed horses into competition animals. I have also been trained by an Australian Natural Horseman. I always work to a very high standard, using my iniative and most importantly I am a very hard, and trustworthy worker. I am also a team player but I also have great initiative to take sole charge
