Qualifications
I do not have any formal qualifications, though did gain my Parelli (old) Level 3 in groundwork in 2004.
Duties of Current Occupation
Manage and supervise 6 staff, ensure efficiency and excellent customer service, organise rota to make sure all duties are covered, organise resources, computer literate
Equine Work Experience
Owned own horses since 14yrs, studied Parelli from 2000 until 2004, spent 3mths in Florida with Parelli also. Trained in Texas for 6mths with Bruce Logan, Colt Starter, Foundation and Difficult Horse Specialist. Worked with difficult horses and taught Foundation Techniques in Scotland, Cumbria and Northumberland in 2006/7. Have groomed on dressage yard and currently on sabbatical from office job and working in Holland on a showjumping yard for 1mth.
Specialities
Particularly interested in working with more "difficult" horses and like to work from the ground up. Have worked with horses who have problems trailer loading, rearing, bucking, and have halter broken untouched stallions. Really enjoy teaching and particularly good with nervous people and horses, enjoying building confidence. I also have lots of office-based experience, computer literate, excellent typist, knowledge of accounts
