A life time love affair with horses, after selling my own four years ago I joined the "real" world and became a council worker. Now after having a baby I want to get back to my passion in life.

Ridding since the age of 5, I spent every spare moment at my local riding school. This then lead on to weekend work (bringing in / turning out the horses, preparing horses for this lessons and general yard duties) I then went on to loan horses before then eventually owning my own. I was lucky enough to be able to keep my horse on a private part of the yard from my old riding school where I would still help when needed. I also worked at other livery yards and provided cover for the full time groom.

• Nervous horses. -Calming horses and gain their trust My own horse had been badly abused, it would take at least five people to be able to lead him anywhere let alone be able to get on. After working with him he will now follow you anywhere, and not only can you get on him he has gone from a giraffe to working in a nice balanced natural outline. I went back to basics with him regarding all schooling and now is able to jump to jump a 1.20m track with ease and always placed when competing
