Starting at a young age, I quickly gained experience with all types of horses, due to riding mostly riding school horses with behavioural problems. I grew up with show jumping, dressage, and cross country. I also took part in competitions and gained certificates. At the age of 9, I became responsible for looking after 3 horses. That included farrier and vet visits. It was with these horses that I first gained experience in carriage driving.
At the age of 12, I took up western riding and it was then that I discovered my passion for natural horsemanship and groundwork. Since then I have actively been trying to increase my knowledge in this particular aspect.
Over my teenage years, I became very involved in a riding school and started giving my own lessons. I also lead hacks and trail rides and sometimes even managed the business without supervision. Shortly after turning 17, I had finally saved up enough money to buy my own horse with my own money.
