Capable yard person looking for full time work.
I have passed up to my HNC in Equine Studies at Oatridge Campus and I am currently carrying out my HND. I am also training for my UKCC Level 1.
I am a capable rider and can jump and carry out flatwork to a good standard.
I hold a full drivers licence and have my own car.
If you have any further questions or require any additional photos/videos of my riding or standard of work then please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks
Kaitlin

Duties of Current Occupation
Currently I am working as a groom in a college but due to reasons outside of the role I am unhappy.
In a small team we oversee the running of the yard by ourselves and students, keeping horse welfare a top priority.
Equine Work Experience
The majority of my experience has arisen from my previous sole charge position, a year ago. I was responsible for all care, organising farrier visits, ordering feed, turning out for meets and lessons and liasing closely with the owner and her family.
while currently i am using this rxperience to my advantage in the day to day running of the yard.
Before this i have been working, as working pupil in different yards, as a
freelance groom caring for various types of horses, whether one off muck outs, regular jobs or exercise livery.
Specialities
I am studying Ride With Your Mind biomechanics riding at the moment. I have worked with eventers, hunters, riding club horses and all kinds of liveries. I have experience of alternative horsemanship but realise each animal is individual and no technique is one size fits all.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience riding many types, sizes and breeds of horses.
Previously I have had the opportunity to assist in bringing on a young eventer, hunters, retired eventers, school masters/misteresses and green andlow mileage horses.
Also experienced in lunging and long reining with some knowledge of different groundwork techniques
Competition Details
I have no competed for a few years but have competed at local showing and unaffiliated dressage to Novice level.
Previous experience turning horses out for hunt and lawn meets
