Pony club B test
Help with yard duties on what was Kenneth Clawsons (used to be chef d'equipe for UK event team until he passed away) yard mucking out, hacking/schooling horses and tacking up for lessons.
Look after and compete 4 of my own event horses.
Spent time helping coaches at the Atherstone pony club during camp week.
Have a good knowledge of horse first aid.
Handled young and bargey horses, spent time with Grant Bazin learning natural horsemanship for teaching ground manners.
Schooled just-broken horses over their first jumps, ridden their first shows have plenty of experience with green horses.
Ridden all sorts of 'problem horses'; buckers, rearers, spinners, stoppers, nappy horses etc. Very brave rider.
Rode an ex racer for a year for an owner and took her to BE novice and show jumped up to 1m20 gaining many clear rounds, understanding her quirks and got the best out of her after many refused to ride her.
Ride from leg to hand with soft hand and good seat
Show jumped up to BSJA foxhunter Evented up to BE Novice Done all pony club competitions and team events incl. Burghley SJ, Hickstead SJ, Blenheim eventer challenge, Areas and champs Team chased up to intermediate with winning teams, have lead and sat at the back Hunted Done unaffiliated dressage up to BD Novice
