Freelance equestrian coach based in London, specialising in teaching classical equitation, carriage driving and natural horsemanship.
I am a freelance equestrian coach. My passion is exploring how the principles of classical equitation and natural horsemanship can provide a solid foundation for the physical and mental development of the carriage driving horse, and to help horses and humans build a meaningful partnership through the path of the heart. I am also qualified in equine sports massage, to support the wellbeing of competition and working carriage horses.
I have been riding from a young age, studied animal behaviour at university, have spent many years studying natural horsemanship, and have been carriage driving for twelve years, first training for three years at The Royal Mews. After spending time as a groom for two Olympic dressage riders, I turned freelance seven years ago.
Since 2012, I have been mentored by Cheryl Casati (Arizona, USA). Three years ago, I began training in and teaching classical equitation with Minette Rice-Edwards. Both mentors have transformed my work!
