I have worked on various different yards from carraige driving {with minta winn} at studs, competition yards- dressage, show jumping and showing (Katie Jerram) and on livery yards. I have handled all sorts of horses including competition fit stalllions to new born foals. On these yards i have worked as a groom, head groom and yard manager {running my own buissness, offering out livery services} I also break horses in and have done alot of work with the disabled using horses as therapy.
I have lots of patience with difficult or young horses and am able to correct bad behavior without the use of whips ect. I enjoy breaking horses to drive/ride as i feel if its done correctly you can ensure the horse a good problem free future. I am a good team leader and player and very hard worker. I have just spent 2 years working with carriage driving horses and can harness/ drive single and pairs and can harness and put to a team of 4.
I have experience in hacking/exercising, basic schooling, some jumping, backing/breaking & lunging youngsters.
I havent competed myself but I have been to various Affiliated Dressage and Show jumping competitions as a groom where the riders were competing up to Advanced Medium and 1.40m.
