I passed 7 GSCE quifications grade C and above including science, maths and english. I have also gained my Level 3 Equine Management ride and teach at grade D*DD. My Level 4 Business Mangement in the equine industry is still awaiting results.
Part time work whilst at university, duties consisting of mucking out horses, cleaning fields, feeding, and exercising horses. At home I work with my own horses, farm animals (cattle and sheep) and machinery, as well as general yard duties
I have owned and worked around horses since I was 4 years old including competing since a younge age along side instuctors and family. When I moved to collage and passed my driving test I brought my own horse which I keep with me under my full responcibility. Along side this I have worked in a number of different livery and riding schools in different roles. I have had experience of owning and riding horses of various experience from 'school masters' to my own, being a 4 year old ex racer. I have also helped in the process of backing horses aswell as retiring them. From studying at Bishop Burton Collage I have quilifications for level three Equine Management Ride and Teach as well as studying level 4 Business Management in the Equine Industry.
I am open to using different techniques for training and working with animals. I have a high patience level but stand my ground when horses mess around. I know how to plait mains and tails in different styles depending on the discipline and breed of horse.
My main disaplins are in flat and jump but I also have some experience in cross country and equitation. I also have plenty of experience with hacking out on roads and bridal ways.
I have mainly competed in showjumping up to 1m5, however, I have also competed in dressage on my own aswell as in pairs. I have competed in low level cross country, again on my own as well as in pairs.
