None. Started training for Stage 1
Turning out horses, muck out/ full muck out, hay, water, rug up day/night, exercise horses, horses back into work, stable bandaging, some clipping, grooming, tacking up and general yard duties.
I started learning to ride when I was 11. As a teenager I worked at the stables holidays and weekend in return for rides. In my teens I owned 1pony, then a Shetland, moving onto a horse. At 15, I was asked to be the groom for the Welsh Show jumping Team and go with them to a competition in Ireland. At 16, I started an equestrian course at Walford, but did not complete it. I was not mature enough to live away from home at that time and returned home to work at what was Lilleshall Equestrian Centre. At 18 I decided to move away from horses and train for a different career. Periodically, I would book myself a lesson or a hack and have continued to ride a friends horse from time to time. For the last year I have been working at Telford Equestrian Centre, but have now handed in my notice. Therefore, I am available immediately.
Hacking, jumping, dressage, lunging and long reining.
I have just returned to competition jumping. On my 1st outing, I got clear round and 4th place (out of 16) at 50 - 60.
